Below is a list of the most frequently asked questions that apply to sending text messages (SMS).

What can I send via SMS?
You can send invites/ecards by SMS. For invites, you can also send reminders, messages and thank you notes to your guests by SMS.

Can I only send SMS to people in the U.S?
No. You can send SMS worldwide.

How can I use SMS to invite someone or to send them an ecard?
To send an invite by SMS, check the 'SMS' box for your guest / recipient in the 'guest list' or 'list'. Next click the 'Details' tab under the 'guest list' or 'list' tab (depending on if you are sending an invite/ecard) and then enter your guest's mobile number.

How can I remind someone via SMS?
If you are setting up a reminder while creating an invite, click the 'rsvp options' tab and then click the 'Send via text message option'. Select the option you want. You may also click the "(edit)" link to modify the details of a reminder.

If you would like to set up a reminder after you have already sent out your invite, click the 'communications' tab on your event management page and then click the <reminder> button to edit & enter your reminder details. Ensure that you have selected SMS as the 'How' method.

How can I send a thank you note via SMS?
You must first send out your invite. Then go to your event management page and click the 'communications' tab. Then click the <thank you> button to enter & edit your thank you note details. Ensure that you have selected SMS as the 'How' method.

How do I see what will be sent to my guests?
To preview your SMS message,

• If you have not yet sent out your invite, click the <preview> button at the bottom of your event management screen then click 'sms'
• If you already sent your invite, click the 'current invite' tab on your event management screen then click the <preview> button and then click 'sms'.

To preview a reminder, thank you or normal message, click the <preview> button in the popup box where you edit the details.

Can I send an invite/ecard by SMS and email, or by SMS and postal delivery, or all three?
Yes, you most certainly can. Just select the methods you would like to use to send your invite/ecard under the 'guest list' or 'list' tab.
