Using pingg as an RSVP platform

Each invite created with pingg has its own web page. This allows you to send a link to your event web page to others, without needing to use pingg to send the invitations. This is useful if you do not want to manually add guests to your guest list, are not sure which guests you will be inviting or simply would prefer to send out the invitations yourself using your own method. If this is the case, you can use pingg as your RSVP platform.

All you have to do is create your event, add a custom URL to make the event page easier to remember, publish it and then share your web page link with your guests so they can RSVP. Whether you place the link on your own printed cards, email it, scratch it on a meeting room whiteboard, hang it on a poster outside your room window, tell it by word of mouth or something else is up to you. After you give this link out to your guests, you will then be able to keep track of the RSVPs including responses per guest, a headcount of attending guests, names of people attending, the number of persons in each guest's party, and more, as guests to go the event web page and register. Please note that for guests to be able to register, you must ensure that the "Prevent guests from forwarding the invitation..." option under the 'event web page' tab is unchecked.

You may also choose to manually RSVP, i.e., set your guests' RSVP status. This allows you to keep track of your guests' RSVPs without requiring your guests to RSVP on our site themselves. To manually RSVP for a guest, log into your account from the main page (www.pingg.com). This should take you to your 'dashboard' with a list of your events. Click your event name to get to the event management page. In the opened 'event report' tab, you should see your guest list with a list of your guests and their RSVPs. In the RSVP column for your guest (where it says Delivered/Viewed/Yes/No/Maybe/Unsent), click the column for your guest and you should see a list of the different RSVP options of Yes/No/Maybe. Click on one of these options to set the RSVP for your guest.
