What is pingg Plus?

pingg Plus is an upgrade package you can apply to any pingg invite/eCard you create. pingg Plus costs $10, and by upgrading you can use use any/all of the following features:


  • Ad-free - we guarantee your event/ecard web page and emails to guests are 100% free of third-party advertising
  • Digital Envelopes - choose any one of three elegant, animated envelopes that open and reveal your pingg invite/ecard when your guests click on the email invite/ecard in their in-box
  • 250+ Guests - send your invite/ecard to over 250 guests to a maximum of 2500
  • Customized URL - make it memorable for both you and your guests with a customized event/ecard web page URL (e.g., event.pingg.com/johns50thbirthday)
  • pingg Vault - with over 4 million images to choose from, you can't help but find find the perfect image for your invite/ecard in the pingg Vault
  • pingg Plus Designs - Invitation and eCard designs from pingg Plus Designers


Upgrading to pingg Plus is per event; it is not a subscription and does not apply to all invites/ecards in your dashboard. Once you upgrade an invite/ecard to pingg Plus, you have access to all the pingg Plus features for that particular invite/ecard and you can send to as many as 2500 guests without any additional cost. If you create a new invite/ecard and wish to upgrade it to a pingg Plus event, you will have to pay the $10 fee to upgrade the new invite/ecard. To upgrade your event, simply choose any one of the features included in pingg Plus, add a guest list with more than 250 guests, or choose a design created by a pingg Plus Designer or an image from the pingg Vault.

You pay the $10 fee to upgrade via the process of sending the invite/ecard. Before you are able to send your invite/ecard, you will be directed to a payment page where you can enter your payment info.

Below you'll find a list of frequently asked questions regarding pingg Plus.

Please Note: if you want to remove the a pingg Plus feature you have selected and send your invite for free, you can only do so if you have not yet sent your invite/eCard. If you have already paid for and sent the invite/eCard, you cannot remove the feature.


Q: How do I remove the Ad-Free feature?
A: To remove the Ad-Free feature:

  1. Log in to your pingg account
  2. Click on the event in your dashboard
  3. Click on the "options" tab
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and make sure the "Don't want ads distracting your guests?

Go completely ad-free!" box is unchecked.


Q: How do I remove the Digital Envelope?
A: To remove the Digital Envelope:

  1. Log in to your pingg account
  2. Click on the event in your dashboard
  3. Click the "options" tab
  4. In the "digital envelopes" section, click the radio button "Send my invitation/eCard without a digital envelope"


Q: How do I remove guests from my guest list and send my invite/ecard for free?
A: If you have more than 250 guests on your list then your event is automatically upgraded to pingg Plus. If you want to send for free you must remove guests from your list until you have fewer than 250.

To remove guests from your guest list:

  1. Log in to your pingg account
  2. Click on the event in your dashboard
  3. Click the "guest list" or "recipients" tab
  4. Click the red "X" to the left of a guest's name to delete that guest from your list


Q: How do I remove a Customized Event Web Page URL?
A: To remove a Customized Event Web Page URL:

  1. Log in to your pingg account
  2. Click on the event in your dashboard
  3. Click the "options" tab
  4. Click the red delete button located on the right-hand side of your Customized URL


Q: How do I switch from using a pingg Vault image or a design from a pingg Plus Designer to a free design?
A: If you do not want to upgrade your event to pingg Plus by using an image from the pingg Vault or a design from a pingg Plus designer, you must choose one of the free designs we offer. pingg Plus Designers are indicated by the stars on either side of their name and the darker font than non-pingg Plus designers.

To return to the gallery and choose a free design for your invite:

  1. Log into your pingg account
  2. Click on the event in your dashboard
  3. Click the "gallery" link near the top of the page


Once you are back in the gallery you can use the navigation tree on the left hand side to browse free designs by collection theme, by designer, or you can do a keyword search. Premium images in the pingg Vault will always appear on the right-hand side in a shaded box.
