Using the RSVP platform

Each invitation has its own unique event web page. If guests are added directly to your guest list, and you send the invitation through our site, guests will receive a unique email invitation which identifies them based upon your guest list entries, so that they can simply click an RSVP button to select their RSVP. They can then confirm their RSVP on the RSVP confirmation page.

You can also send a link to your event web page to others, without needing to send the invitation directly through our site. This is useful if you do not want to manually add guests to your guest list, are not sure which guests you will be inviting, or simply would prefer to send the invitation yourself using your own method. If this is the case, you can still use our RSVP platform.

All you have to do is create your event, add a custom URL to make the event page easier to remember if you'd like, send it (without adding any guests to the guest list, or you can if you'd like), and then share your event web page link with your guests so they can RSVP. Whether you place the link on your own printed cards, email it, scratch it on a meeting room whiteboard, hang it on a poster outside your room window, tell it by word of mouth or share it by another means is up to you. After you share this link with your guests, you will then be able to keep track of the RSVPs including responses per guest, a headcount of attending guests, names of people attending, the number of persons in each guest's party, and more, as guests go to the event web page and register. Please note that for guests to be able to register, you must ensure that "Allow guests to share the invite" is selected on the "Options" page.

You may also choose to set your guests' RSVP statuses for them. This allows you to keep track of your guests' RSVPs without requiring your guests to RSVP on our site themselves. To manually RSVP for a guest, log into your account from the homepage and view your dashboard. Click your event to get to the event report page. Click the "manage guests" icon. You will see your guest list with a list of your guests and their RSVPs. In the RSVP column for your guest (where it says Delivered/Viewed/Yes/No/Maybe/Unsent), click the current status for your guest and you should see a list of the different RSVP options. Click one of these options to set the RSVP for your guest.

Please make sure that you are sharing the link correctly per the following directions.

Please note that you have to activate sharing for the event in order to allow guests/recipients to RSVP using the general link and to give guests/recipients access to all added details and options.

To activate sharing:

1. Log into your account, click the "account" tab and click "dashboard"
2. Click the event in your dashboard
3. Click the "options" tab of an unsent event (you automatically land on this page when creating a new invitation) or the "edit options" button of a sent event
4. Scroll to the bottom of the page, select "allow guests to share the invite" and save your changes until you reach the "success!" page

Please then be sure to share the correct link with your guests.

To retrieve the correct event web page URL:

1. Log into your account, click the "account" tab and click "dashboard"
2. Click the event in your dashboard
3. Click the link that says "click here for help" beneath the RSVP/recipient list
4. If your or another name appears at the top left hand side of the event web page, please click "not you?" before copying the link. Copy the URL and paste it into a personal message (or wherever you are sharing it)
